Madeline Hooten, MS, is a graduate student in the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Population Health with a focus on drug use trends in the Phoenix area and stigma associated. Her past research has focused on neurodegenerative diseases and the neuropsychology that contributes to degeneration. She is currently working to use her knowledge in neuropsychology and population health to better understand effective treatments for those impacted by substance use and incarceration.
