Anna Beth Parlier-Ahmad, MS, is a clinical psychology doctoral student in the Behavioral Medicine/Adult concentration at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from University of North Carolina at Asheville, in 2012. Subsequently, she worked as a research coordinator at Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, North Carolina before beginning graduate school in 2017. Her clinical interests include peripartum mental health, substance use, integrated care. Her research interests include broadly substance use, women's health, and sex and gender differences.
