Max Spaderna, MD, is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his bachelor's degree at University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2006 and Medical Degree at Boston University School of Medicine in 2010. In 2014 Dr. Spaderna completed his Adult Psychiatry residency at Yale University School of Medicine. After completing residency, Dr. Spaderna worked at a community mental health clinic in Nashville, TN, where from 2015 to 2017 he was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. In 2017 Dr. Spaderna joined the Psychiatry Department of the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Spaderna's clinical and research interests include opioid use disorder, suicide risk, and social determinants of health.
