Edin graduated with his Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2015. He is Board Certified by AANP in Adult and Geriatric Health. He has been focusing on treatment of substance abuse and comorbidities (depression, anxiety, and PTSD in particular) His true passion is management of substance use disorders with utilization of Tele-health to ease access of care for vulnerable population. He has been treating patients affected by addiction since 2016, and has an impeccable record implementing induction to Buprenorphine via Tele- Health and office based settings. He believes in harm reduction, however, addiction and substance use should be targeted in its core. He would like to see the introduction of age appropriate school curriculum starting at the 7th grade. Comprehensive School Based Models would emphasize the importance of mental and behavioral health in youth, improve their coping skills, target stigma and teach our children how to avoid getting addicted to drugs.
