Arjola Agolli, MD, MBA is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Penn State College of Medicine. She has a keen interest in reducing primary care health disparities and improving women’s health in remote areas. She has over sixteen years of experience in teaching medical students and training medical professionals, research, leading healthcare projects, and healthcare quality improvement projects, as well as working as a clinician to improve women’s health. Her current research work focuses on assessing cannabis use among pregnant women and developing a comprehensive understanding of cannabis’s impact on their children’s development after in-utero exposure. Her long-term career goal is to become an independent researcher and clinician.
