Dr. Ari Cuperfain (he/him) is a fourth year Psychiatry resident at the University of Toronto. His research and clinical interests relate to substance use disorders speficially among older adults, and the effects of substance use on cognition, psychiatric comorbidity and polypharmacy in this population. He is also involved in research exploring the use of extended-release buprenorphine in specific patient populations. He is a past Chief Resident at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto. He is also a recipient of the 2023 ASAM Ruth Fox Scholarship.
