Dr. Sunny Kung, MD is the Medical Director of the Merrimack Valley Bridge Clinic in Haverhill, MA at Mass General Brigham Community Physicians. She is a board-certified internist specializing in addiction medicine. She attended the University of California Berkeley for her BS in Bioengineering. She later received her MD from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. After medical school, Dr. Kung completed her training in Internal Medicine-Primary Care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and her fellowship in addiction medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Healthcare for the Homeless. She also completed a program with Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates in Population Medicine & Management Leadership. Her clinical interests include addiction medicine, anti-racism, and social justice. She is a first generation immigrant from Taiwan, and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, traveling, and cooking.
