Dr. Denis Antoine is a graduate of Howard University School of Medicine and completed his Psychiatry residency Johns Hopkins University. After residency, he underwent NIH-sponsored postdoctoral training in addiction research at the Behavioral Pharmacology Research Unit at the Johns Hopkins Bayview campus. Currently, he is the director of the Motivated Behaviors Unit at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and Director of the Cornerstone at Helping up Mission programs in Baltimore, Maryland. Concurrently, he has published research on abuse liability methodology and psychiatric assessment of dual diagnosis patients while conducting research on the co-morbidities of substance use disorders. He is a member and diplomat of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
