Emily Smith, LMSW, CAADC is a Clinical Social Worker with the Addiction Consult Team at University of Michigan Health. She obtained her BS in Human Development at Virginia Tech and her MSW at University of Michigan. She completed a post graduate certificate in addiction through University of Michigan. She has worked in the field of substance use and mental health for the last decade. Emily is passionate about challenging the stigma of substance use and educating healthcare professionals in evidence-based treatment.
