Acadia Healthcare's Military & Family Support Services division is a resource for our Military Installations, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and community providers; comprised of retired, former and current military members as well as passionate and committed professionals. The MFS team works in conjunction with base providers, VA social workers and other clinical professionals to coordinate care using a holistic approach, based on the integration of evidence-based modalities in accordance with DoD and VA requirements and formularies.
Our main purpose and mission is to reach zero-suicide and help our brothers and sisters heal and live a life of recovery. We will work with the individuals treatment team to identify appropriate placement in various levels of care. Your dedicated Military Liaison/Care Coordinator will personally manage each case from initial call through discharge and return to duty (or VA) to insure that all treatment goals and requirements are achieved.
We strive to provide individuals with the tools needed to achieve recovery from trauma, substance use, other addiction and mental health concerns. Whether the goal of treatment is mission readiness, or to transition to civilian life, your MFS team will offer the support necessary every step of the way.
