Epidaurus DBA Amity Foundation (Amity) has 40+ years of experience working directly to empower and habilitate individuals marginalized by addiction, trauma, criminality, incarceration, poverty, racism, sexism, homelessness, and violence. Amity strives to improve health, and promote environmental, social, and economic justice throughout all of our service delivery. Amity’s Circle Tree Ranch (Amity CTR) offers comprehensive residential treatment services. The length of stay ranges from 90 days to 7 months depending on assessed needs. For 40+ years. all of Amity’s services have used the therapeutic community model, an intensive and effective pro-social community-as-method model for youth and adults. Amity uses a curriculum that incorporates evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral methods and exercises, as well as self-help methods. Amity’s 40+ year history includes providing the therapeutic community model in correctional and community-based settings, for adult men and women (who may bring children with them to treatment), as well as the juvenile justice population. Amity CTR currently enrolls individuals in comprehensive residential services through a variety of contracts including single case agreements with various tribal nations, Pima County contracts, the state Medicaid system, private insurance, and private payers.
