What is the ASAM Annual Conference?

The ASAM Annual Conference is the defining event in addiction medicine bringing together all professionals to connect, learn, and inspire. For 54 years, ASAM has been convening the addiction treatment community to showcase best practices and the latest science, research, and innovations in the field. The ASAM 54th Annual Conference is taking place the Gaylord National Resort in National Harbor, MD. The event begins at 5:30 pm on Thursday, April 13, 2023, with an opening welcome reception and concludes at 12:00 pm on Sunday, April 16, 2023.

The Gaylord National Resort is located just minutes from Washington, D.C. and Old Town Alexandria, and just steps away from the restaurants and entertainment of National Harbor. With newly renovated guest rooms and suites, a 19-story indoor garden Atrium, a premier steakhouse, an award-winning spa, and a rooftop lounge - it is the ultimate destination for conference attendees to learn, relax and explore the nation's capital.
