Erica Anderson, currently holds the position of Industrial Hygienist for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and has worked as a member of the Infection Prevention department at Children’s since 2016. Erica is also cross-trained in infection prevention. She has a B.S in Pre-medicine Biology from Shorter University and has a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) in Environmental Health and Toxicology from University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). Her manuscript, “Combinatorial effects of Corexit 9500A and Temperature Stressors on embryo development in the Zebrafish Danio rerio” was published in the 2016 edition of the Journal of Alabama Academy of Science. Erica is a recipient of the 2016 Emmett B. Carmichael Award for the Alabama Academy of Science.
