Paul Malpiedi MPH is an epidemiologist in CDC's International Infection Control Program within the Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion. He works closely with Ministries of Health and their partners to implement infection prevention and control programs and develop sustainable, resource-appropriate surveillance systems for healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial resistance in low- and middle-income countries. He holds a Masters in Public Health degree from the University of Michigan and a Bachelors of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University.
