Marie K. Moss, BSN, RN, MPH, CIC, CPHQ, FAPIC is the Director of the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Infection Prevention and Control Department. She has her MPH degree from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and received her CIC in 2009. A member of APIC since 2008, Marie is an active member of National APIC’s Communications and Health Equity Committees. On a local level, she was on the board of directors of APIC Greater New York Chapter 13. She was honored to be designated an APIC Fellow in 2022.
Marie has always been committed to the prevention of healthcare-acquired infections. She was honored to receive the United Hospital Fund’s 2020 Excellence in Health Care award for her work in C. diff prevention. Marie has given presentations on using a multi-disciplinary approach to decrease hospital-onset HAIs at the 2021 World Anti-Microbial Congress and the 2022 Infusion Nurses Society Conference.
