Angela Vassallo is a nationally recognized expert in Infection Prevention and Epidemiology. Her company, Angela Vassallo, LLC, has worked with BuzzFeed, Netflix, 40 Acres and a Mule, the Lincoln Project, theoldschool, Complex, Huffington Post, and the New York Times.
She has CIC and FAPIC designations, a MPH from University of Texas School of Public Health, a MS in Healthcare Management from West Coast University, and a BA in International Service from the American University. She is on the national APIC Board of Directors and is Past-Chair of the APIC Communications Committee, Past-President of California APIC, and Past-President of Greater Los Angeles APIC.
She helped design the first Infection Prevention Graduate program for Providence University in 2016. She was featured in BD's global antimicrobial resistance fighter campaign and was nominated Healthcare Manager of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal in 2014. She speaks French, Spanish, and Italian.
