For over 20 years, Jody Miller Elliot has been leading housekeeping teams in British Columbia’s acute and senior living healthcare. Jody is currently the Fraser Health Housekeeping Director of Initiatives and Strategies, leading the Quality Assurance Team and supporting site operations. Jody has worked in six health authorities with diverse clientele, senior leadership, infection control, stakeholders, management teams, and frontline employees, allowing her to collaborate and work in team environments. Jody has been a critical committee member and has led teams through several new business start-ups, transitions, pilots, and the introduction of innovation. Most recently, she led the repatriation of the Fraser Health housekeeping department in 40 facilities and 1600 employees and management teams. Being detail-oriented and outcome focused, Jody has built quality assurance assessment programs that look beyond a score, analyzing data to identify quality trends, risks, and wins. Additionally, she creates a positive and motivating experience that nurtures engagement and relationship building. Jody believes in vendor partnerships and introducing innovations that support employee work experience.
