Dr. Danielle Durant is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi, where she teaches within the Healthcare Administration program. While pursuing her PhD in Public Health Management and Policy at Rockefeller College of SUNY Albany, Dr. Durant worked for the Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS) in their Quality Advocacy and Research Initiatives (QARI) division. Within QARI, she served as Project Management Coordinator for the NYS Partnership for Patients (NYSPFP) program, a federal contract aimed at the prevention of hospital-acquired conditions in NYS Hospitals. Before her appointment at HANYS, Dr. Durant was a Graduate Fellow at the NYS Department of Health, working on Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program implementation. Additionally, she has a BS in Finance and Economics, an MBA in Management, an MS in Engineering Management, and is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
