Julie Paoline, MA, CPHA, CIC, FAPIC is a Public Health Specialist Supervisor in the Bureau of Epidemiology at the Pennsylvania Department of Health, in the Division of Healthcare-Associated Infection Prevention. Her work includes coordinating outbreak investigation and response for high-concern organisms and responding to infection control breaches. Julie is also dedicated to implementing regional and statewide prevention strategies aimed to reduce the spread of antimicrobial resistance through improved infection prevention and control practices. She is board-certified in Infection Control and Epidemiology and board-certified as a Public Health Administrator. She is also a Fellow of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology. And in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Julie serves as the COVID-19 Outbreak Coordinator for Pennsylvania's Infection Control and Outbreak Response (ICOR) team.
