Danielle L. Kurtz, MPH, CIC is an Infection Preventionist at Orlando Health responsible for infection prevention oversight of 350+ outpatient facilities and physician practices spanning over eight Central Florida counties. Danielle received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Central Florida in 2012 and Master of Public Health from Tulane University in 2014. Starting her career at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Danielle was the co-investigator of two research grants and co-authored more than ten peer-reviewed journals focused on community and behavioral health sciences. She began her infection prevention journey at the Department of Health in Orange County Florida as the Infection Control Assessment and Response Epidemiologist and moved into her current role with Orlando Health in 2020. She is the current Conference Committee Chair of the Central Florida APIC Chapter 092 and Board Certified in Infection Prevention and Control.
