Christine Bingman is an Infection Preventionist with the Pennsylvania Patient Safety Authority (PSA). In this role, she is responsible for education and outreach for Infection Preventionists in healthcare facilities across the state. Dr. Bingman also collaborates with infection preventionists and their leadership to develop strategies for patient safety and compliance with regulatory agencies. She has been an Infection Preventionist since 2007 and has served as a Director of Quality, Patient Safety and Infection Prevention as well as a Manager of Infection Prevention for a large health system. In her leadership roles she has overseen infection prevention activities in acute care, behavioral health, hospital-based clinics, ambulatory surgical sites and long-term care facilities. Dr. Bingman graduated from Chatham Unversity with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice during COVID and is an active member of APIC nationally and through her role as president in her local Northwestern PA Chapter.
