Steve Spaanbroek is a founding partner of MSL Healthcare Partners, Inc., and has over 30 years of national consulting experience in the Environment of Care™ and facilities management. He is a frequent speaker in the field of healthcare safety, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement.
Steve served as a Faculty Member for the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) of the American Hospital Association, teaching both the Healthcare Construction Certificate and Environment of Care courses. Steve was an active faculty member from 2004 to 2020 and has participated in seminar development for Purdue University, the Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), and The Joint Commission.
Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University, Greenville, NC, where he also earned a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Healthcare.
