Dr. Geoffrey Ikpeama serves as the Lead Infection Prevention Specialist at St. Louis Children's Hospital. He has worked in the field of Infection Prevention since 2015, mostly in the pediatric setting. His background is in the field of public health, with a focus on epidemiology, health policy, and preventive medicine.
His primary focus at St. Louis Children's Hospital has been working with the NICU and Cardiac ICU teams, with a focus on reducing nosocomial MRSA, CLABSI prevention, as well as supporting numerous other efforts throughout the hospital that bring awareness to the importance and impact of infection prevention.
