Britt is the Infection Control Assessment and Response Epidemiologist at the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH). Britt received her Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences from St. Cloud State University. She completed her Master of Public Health in epidemiology and public health informatics at the University of Minnesota.
After graduation, Britt was a Health Management Global Health Fellow with the United States Agency for International Development. Britt conducted in-country training to Ethiopia and Uganda on the deployment of a data management mobile application to monitor and improve HIV program quality at PEPFAR-supported sites.
After completion of her fellowship, Britt accepted a career at MDH as the HIV Health Informatics Research Scientist. During the pandemic, Britt served as the lead epidemiologist for responding to COVID-19 in congregate care settings. Continuing her path as a public health leader, Britt completed the Master’s Institute Leadership Summit and the Everyday Leaders Program at MDH.
