Infection Preventionist

Sheryl Ferrier, MPH, CPH, CIC is a highly specialized Infection Preventionist at Moffitt Cancer Center, with a focus on surgical services and Interventional Radiology. She earned her dual Master's Degree in Epidemiology and Global Communicable Disease from the University of South Florida in 2015, and quickly began her career in Infection Prevention at a tertiary care hospital boasting over 500 beds. Sheryl's expertise has since expanded, and she now serves as the specialist for surgical services and Interventional Radiology at Moffitt Cancer Center, where she is responsible for process investigation and implementation of best practices. In addition to her role, Sheryl is actively involved in her local APIC chapter. She serves on the board as webmaster and Social Media Committee Director and plays a key role in planning the chapter's local conference. Sheryl finds great value in maintaining a healthy work-life balance with her family in Tampa, Florida.
