Muhammad Salman Ashraf, MBBS, is an Associate Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Internal Medicine, at University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE. He serves as the medical director for Nebraska DHHS Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance (HAI/AR) Program. He is also an associate medical director for department of infection control and epidemiology and antimicrobial stewardship program at Nebraska Medicine. Dr. Ashraf is a member of Infection Advisory Committee and State Based Policy and Advocacy Subcommittee of AMDA-The Society for PALTC Medicine and SHEA Long Term Care Interest Group. He is currently working on multiple projects focused on promoting infection prevention and control and antimicrobial stewardship programs in various healthcare settings..
