Linda Bouttaphom BSN, RN, Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) Clinical Manager.
Linda graduated with her ADN in 2010 in Hartford, CT. She earned her BSN in 2021 from Western Governor's University while working full-time as a Clinical Nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital. Linda is currently pursuing her Master's in Healthcare Administration from Capella University.
Linda started her career with Yale New Haven Hospital in 2016 as a Clinical Nurse in the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Section of the YNHH’s Department of Dentistry. In 2021 Linda was promoted to Clinical Manager of the Dentistry Department at YNHH. The Department of Dentistry at YNHH is a large resident-run service encompassing three departments: Adult Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.
Linda's responsibilities include ensuring smooth clinical operations, overseeing and supporting all clinical staff, enforcing the departments' adherence to all regulatory processes, in addition to formulating and implementing strategies for practice improvement. Linda strives for providing the highest quality patient care with safety at the forefront. She remains current with policy changes and safety standards by working with multiple nursing committees and various service lines at YNHH. Additionally, she dedicates her time to helping the department to improve and function seamlessly and actively participates in the Leadership team and is co-chair for the Safety Lead for Yale New Haven Hospital’s Department of Dentistry.
In the fall of 2022, Linda and her leadership team coordinated with the Infection Prevention team of YNHH and developed a first-time Water Management System for the Department of Dentistry.
