Brittany S. Thorp, MPH, is an Infection Control Epidemiologist with Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and has been with the hospital system since July of 2019. Brittany attended Grand Valley State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical science and a Master of Public Health degree, with an emphasis on epidemiology. Prior to her work at Parkview Health, she worked as an Epidemiologist at the Genesee County Health Department located in Flint, Michigan. Brittany also worked for three years at Northern Biomedical Research, which specializes in innovative pre-clinical pharmaceutical research for neurodegenerative disorders. She stays busy aiding in hospital epidemiological surveillance of communicable diseases and investigating hospital-acquired infections/outbreaks. She enjoys spending time at the lake with her boys in her free time.
