Adam Nicholas Karcz MPH CPH CIC FAPIC is the Director of Infection Prevention at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, Indiana. Adam has over 15 years of experience in infection prevention, and over 20 years of healthcare experience. During his tenure at Riley, he has worked to improve safety and decrease harm events in the pediatric population, established free community vaccination clinics, and trains and mentors newer infection preventionists. His interests are in the areas of vaccine preventable disease, community and population health, and improving social determinants of health. He is currently completing is Doctorate of Public Health (DrPH) at Indiana University and will graduate in the summer of 2024.
