Molly Hale has been an Infection Preventionist since 2006 and is currently the manager of Infection Prevention of four hospitals in a ten hospital, multi-state system. Practice settings include acute care, academic health systems, ambulatory, and critical access hospitals. Professional interests include education and training, leadership development and reducing the risk of transmission of infectious organisms within the environment of care. Molly has a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, is board certified in infection control (2008), and is an APIC Fellow (2016). Molly has served her local APIC chapters in the roles of president, secretary and treasurer and is currently the vice chair of the APIC Education Committee.
