Caitlin Adams Barker MSN, RN, CIC, FAPIC, is the Manager of Infection Prevention at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. Working in Infection Prevention for the last 10 years, Caitlin has garnered expertise in CLABSI reduction, HAI surveillance, outbreak investigation and management, and tuberculosis and airborne disease transmission and control. Her work in infection prevention has been presented and published regionally and nationally and she has received awards from the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America and the New Hampshire Women’s Foundation. She is active in state and regional infection control efforts as a member of the board of directors for both New Hampshire Infection Control and Epidemiology Professionals and the Association for Professionals in Infection Control, New England Chapter. She has been certified in infection control since 2015, and in 2021 Caitlin was named a Fellow of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control.
