Princy Joseph, MSN, MSN, RN, CIC is an Infection Control Practitioner at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), and a member of APIC since 2011. Princy is a registered nurse for 25 years and has over 10 years of infection control experience from various countries such as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and the United States of America as an infection preventionist. She also has two masterly degrees in nursing and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Princy is the co-chair of the hospital-wide Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI) - task force and the CAUTI champions’ group at BIDMC where she works. Princy’s specialties include critical care and hemodialysis nursing experiences before becoming a certified Infection Control Practitioner in 2011. Princy’s infection control interests are focused on patient safety in hemodialysis, CAUTI reduction efforts, and infection prevention and control in critical care areas.
