Dr. Tania Bubb, PhD, RN, CIC, FAPIC is Senior Director of Infection Prevention and Control at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC. An Infection Preventionist for 16 years at major academic medical centers of varying inpatient and outpatient specialties, providing her with the skills, critical thinking, and leadership abilities necessary to perform optimally within the field. She has served on both local and national Board of Directors of APIC, chaired APIC’s national Professional Development Committee, served on the Editorial Review Board of the American Journal of Infection Control, is a member of APIC’s Practice Resource Editorial Panel, and co-chaired APIC’s Health Disparities and Health Inequities Task Force. Shie is APIC President-elect 2023. Dr. Bubb has spoken and presented at local and national APIC chapter events as well as other local and regional conferences and has authored publications related to the field of infection prevention and control.
