Michell Reyes has nearly two decades of experience in the field of Infection Prevention, Microbiology and quality improvement. He is currently an Infection Control Manager at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He has lectured in the community and nationally on a variety of patient safety and Infection Control topics. He has published several peer-reviewed journals in the American Journal of Infection Control (AJIC) and the Clinical Microbiology Newsletter. He is a Professional Affiliated to Association for Professionals in Infection Control (APIC), American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM).
Michell Reyes has a degree in Nursing from Queensborough Community College, a Bachelor of Science in the field of Microbiology from York College of the City University of New York and pursuing a Master of Public Health degree from Walden University.
Michell Reyes has been certified in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. since 2008.
