Dr. Kathryn Dambrino, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC is an Assistant Professor in the graduate nursing program at Belmont University College of Nursing in Nashville, TN. After completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and ANCC Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) board-certification in 2016, Dr. Dambrino has pursued research interests and clinical practice in the college/university health specialty. Some of her research interests include antimicrobial stewardship, vaccine uptake, opioid overdose prevention/naloxone distribution, interprofessional education, and LGBTQ+ health. Dr. Dambrino has been a member of the Middle Tennessee Antimicrobial Stewardship Symposium planning committee since 2019, and she previously served as the Director of the Belmont University Health Services on-campus clinic. Her previous acute care work experience includes travel nursing in Australia and trauma/orthopaedic nursing. She is a member of the American College Health Association, American Nurses Association, and Tennessee Nurses Association.
