Infection Preventionist
Yale-New Haven Health
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. Shortly after graduation, I decided to pursue a clinical career and enrolled in an accelerated nursing program. I graduated from Marquette University in 2015 with a Master of Science in Nursing. Since obtaining my master's degree, I worked as a clinical registered nurse in the Burn Intensive Care Unit at University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics and a critical care registered nurse at Yale-New Haven Hospital. In May of 2020, I joined the Department of Infection Prevention at Yale-New Haven Health. As an infection preventionist, my primary focuses are oncology, behavioral health, environmental services, C. difficile infections, and MRSA bacteremia. I received my Certification in Infection Control (CIC) in June, 2022.
