Katie Palladino, MPH, CPH, CIC is a Senior Infection Preventionist at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Katie graduated from Washington & Jefferson College in 2012 with degrees in Cell/Molecular Biology and Spanish and earned her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health in 2015. Katie forged her infection prevention skills at the North Carolina Division of Public Health as a Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) Applied Epidemiology Fellow and Healthcare Associated Infections Epidemiologist. Katie joined the Infection Prevention team at UPMC Mercy in March 2019 and leads several quality improvement projects, including CAUTI and SSI prevention programs.
