Alison J. Martin is the Assessment & Evaluation Manager for the Oregon Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Needs, Oregon’s Title V block grant agency for CYSHCN, an evaluation consultant to OHSU’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, and an Assistant Professor in the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health. Her work focuses on assessing the needs of CYSHCN from minoritized communities, studying pediatric-to-adult health care transition for CYSHCN, and promoting family engagement in systems-level improvement projects. Previously, Dr. Martin was a senior social science analyst in the U.S. Government Accountability Office’s Applied Research and Methods team, a research analyst with the Oregon Health Authority’s Maternal and Child Health section, and a senior research associate at RMC Research Corporation. She also has been an independent consultant contracting with nonprofits and health system organizations to provide program evaluation consultation.
