As the mom of a 16 year-old daughter with complex medical, cognitive and physical conditions due to a rare genetic chromosomal abnormality, my years of navigating the vast systems of care has given me valuable lived experience to share. Over the last 6 years, I have been committed to using my experience to collaborate with and improve the systems of care for all families in Arizona. This role has allowed me to serve on our Medicaid's Long Term Care Advisory Council, Arizona's Emergency Preparedness AFN TaskForce, AMCHP Family Delegate for Arizona, state co- Lead on AMCHP Emergency Preparedness & Response Collaborative, Member & Vice Chair of AMCHP Family LEAD Committee, participate in AMCHP Community of Practice on Family Engagment, Facilitator of the Care Coordination Curriculum (NCCTA/AAP) in Arizona for providers, payers and families, and state team member and Advisory Council for Mountain States Regional Genetics Network. As the Family Engagement Specialist for Arizona's MCH/Title V/CYSHCN program, I am currently working to expand our family and youth engagement program in Arizona to increase engagement across all domains and throughout the state
