Amber Pendergraph-Leak has been a community-based doula for over 13 years. She served as Lead Doula for six years with BirthMatters, and in 2021 became its Executive Director. In her work as a doula, she has drawn from her lived experience with the challenges she faced as a new mother at age 20.
