Atyya Chaudhry, MPP, has over 8 years of professional experience in public and community health and health care policy. Ms. Chaudhry currently serves as the Senior Program Manager on the Health Systems Transformation team at AMCHP. In her role, she supports a diverse portfolio working on various programs and activities to strengthen and support health care systems that serve women, children, and families. Ms. Chaudhry also serves on the AMCHP public policy and government affairs team. In this capacity, she educates members on federal policy relating to Medcaid and the Affordable Care Act, among other emerging policy issues. Previously, Ms. Chaudhry worked as a Program Coordinator for Montgomery County, Maryland’s Department of Health and Human Services. In this capacity, she worked on community health initiatives, providing health education, conducting outreach, and community mobilization. Ms. Chaudhry received her Bachelors of Science in Community Health from the University of Maryland School of Public Health. She completed a Master’s in Public Policy with dual specializations in Health Policy and Social Policy, also from the University of Maryland.
