Mr. Dykton is the Deputy Director of the Division of State and Community Health (DSCH) at MCHB and for the past two years, served as the Acting Division Director for DSCH. He has focused for more than twenty years on health policy and program planning and implementation in MCH and mental and behavioral health research. From 1999 to 2011, he was a key player in the development and management of the Title V Information System for MCHB having served as the assistant project director at the National Center for Education in Maternal and Child Health at Georgetown University and as both the project manager and MCH subject matter expert for the Web-based application for MCHB's Title V and Discretionary Grant Information Systems. From 2012 to 2016, he served as the Western Branch Chief in DSCH and in 2017, he became the DSCH Deputy Director. In 2003, he received the MCHB Director's Award for Exceptional Service to the MCH community.
