Shatoria has 10 years' experience in the Maternal and Infant Health sector. She received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Western Michigan University, both in which concentrated on maternal and infant health. Shatoria is an individual dedicated to ensuring all, especially historically underrepresented communities and persons are equipped with resources necessary to amplify their voices and needs within. In 2022, she has been recognized in her community for her efforts to level the MCH field as a 40 under 40 dynamic leader and has also been named an Emerging Leader by USBC in 2022.
