SB10 - Participatory Systems Mapping to Strengthen and Re-Imagine a Thriving MCH Workforce

This skill-building session seeks to expose MCH professionals to systems mapping and modeling approaches through an applied learning opportunity. Given the developing public health and MCH workforce challenges (i.e., burnout, turnover, retirement, etc.), the time is ripe to introduce and apply mapping/modeling tools to a system that all skill-builder participants can contribute and relate to. This session will invite participants to reflect on the current MCH workforce systems challenges and strengths, imagine what a thriving workforce would look like, and work with their peers to share their experiences and develop creative solutions. This skill-builder will be facilitated by members of the National Maternal and Child Health Workforce Development Center’s Systems Integration Core.
