Mapping Trends of Leadership in Asha and Anganwadi workers (AWW) in Understanding the Traits for the Emergence of a Leader

One of the biggest questions faced by the rural healthcare system India is- are government schemes failing to be implemented at the ground or, is there a larger behavioral change required at the grassroot level? This research aims to do a comparative analysis of three high performing and three low performing villages in Chhindwara to understand the pivotal role of ASHA and AWW workers, and explore how socio, economic, demographic, behavioral, cultural and political factors influence the emergence of local leaders in the context of child health care.
