Maternal and Child Health Epidemiologist

Ms. Burlingham has worked on evaluations of federal and private grants for community-based projects for more than 10 years.
While in her current position as an epidemiologist at DOH, she has been the lead evaluator for the Pregnancy Assistance Fund (PAF) grant and the Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Innovations Network grant, both funded by the federal HHS Office of Population Affairs. Prior to her current role, she worked in rural health and with housing interventions.
Ms. Burlingham is skilled at both collecting qualitative and quantitative data directly from individuals and setting up systems for data reporting to DOH from community partner organizations. She has trained many community partner organizations in data collection and reporting, and how and why performance measures are collected and reported to federal partners. She regularly translates data for lay audiences and communicates effectively with community partners regarding evaluation outcomes.
