Shelly is a Project Director at ANSIRH, managing research studies focused on access to sexual and reproductive health care. She currently directs studies that aim to expand access to medication abortion including a national mixed-methods study on people’s interest in alternative models of medication abortion provision, a self-selection study for over-the-counter medication abortion, and a retrospective case-control study to understand the risk of ectopic pregnancy among people seeking medication abortion. Shelly received her MPH from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, with an emphasis on population and family health.
