University of Washington Pediatric Pulmonary Center Training Program
Lianne Caster is the Family Faculty for the University of Washington Pediatric Pulmonary Center (PPC). The PPC is a leadership and clinical training program funded by a training grant from the Maternal and Child Health Bureau of the Human Resources and Services Administration.
As the parent of a child with chronic health conditions, Lianne consults with PPC leaders and faculty to incorporate the patient viewpoint into PPC training programs and processes. She works directly with PPC trainees and fellows on patient and family centered care as part of the PPCs curriculum, including a focus on equity and inclusion issues among diverse patient communities. She also collaborates with other Family Consultants/Partners in conducting PPC training programs nationwide. Lianne brings a strong background in diversity, equity and inclusion work to her role with the PPC, as well as prior work experience in the legal field. She is admitted to practice in Washington.
