Nadia is the Qualitative Research Coordinator for the Philadelphia Department of Health’s (PDPH) Division of Maternal, Child and Family Health (MCFH). Prior to joining the division, she completed her doctorate degree in the Sociology of Health & Illness from the University of Surrey, UK. Nadia is passionate about elevating and incorporating the perspectives and voices of different communities and patient populations in order to create change and improve the health and wellness of these communities. She is a part of the Data & Evaluation team at MCFH and supports research and evaluation activities for the division's programs.
