With 20 years of experience in the field of teen pregnancy prevention across the state of South Carolina, Polly Edwards-Padgett came home in 2015 to address health needs of adolescents in Spartanburg County. She has been the executive director of a local teen pregnancy prevention coalition and director of local action for the South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy. For the past seven years, Polly has led Connect Spartanburg, a federally funded, 36-partner collaborative that is demonstrating success in reducing the rate of teen pregnancy and promoting the overall health and well-being of adolescents.
